Jane Kitching

Born in India, Jane spent much of her childhood in North Yorkshire where she developed her love of painting. Formally studying Textiles and Design brought her considerable success in the UK and abroad, but she has returned to her first love – landscape painting. Working in acrylics in her studio in Swainby, near Stokesley, she is a wonderful observer of people and they often appear in abundance in her works, particularly children. Her painting style evokes happy feelings and joyful memories in the observer.
