Linda Lovatt

Linda trained as an illustrator and designer at Shrewsbury School of Art and then Glyndwr University. She worked freelance for the next 20 years for various gift companies and museums.

After opening her own gallery in Jedburgh, she gained inspiration for her beautiful range of what she refers to as ‘assemblages.’ She was inspired to make these whilst digging in her garden and continually discovering old keys, pieces of broken pottery and bottles. Using copper and these fragments from the past, Linda creates her wonderful, quirky objects and jewellery which take her back to her childhood in the Shropshire hills.
