Michael Hunter

Since training as a glass blower at Wedgwood Glass in 1974, Michael has exhibited internationally and his pieces are in private and public collections around the world. He has also demonstrated and given presentations in the United Kingdom, Germany and the United States

Michael established Twists Glass with his wife, Sue in 1998. Since then he has been leading the way in original glass design. He specialises in Venetian cane working techniques – a technique in which he is self-taught – unique in that practitioners are usually trained on the island of Burano in Venice which is famous for this method.
