Niko Brown

Niko was inspired by an idyllic childhood in rural Hertfordshire, climbing trees and playing in fields and hedgerows, immersing herself in nature. Now based in Cornwall, she also has her own gallery in Ware, in the county of her childhood.

When she first encountered glass Niko was hooked. She loves creating imperfect shapes which capture how the material is in its molten state during firing. Her charming birds and bees and other creatures are complemented by the simple line drawings in her framed pictures.
