Linda Mellin

Linda originally studied Graphic Design in York, achieving a distinction in Industrial Art and Design. As a student she was always lost in the details of her work, often being accused of spending too much time on the finer points. Many years later, it is the detail which is the hallmark of her vibrant, colourful paintings, featuring Yorkshire in all its glory.

In 2017 Linda was named Landscape Artist of the Year by Yorkshire Life Magazine. She has spent her life, as a Yorkshire lass, being inspired by the landscape and the animals of God’s Own County.
